Please remove all personal belongings from your vehicle before handing over your keys. Check the cabin, glovebox, centre console, door pockets and boot.
Cleaning a vehicle properly requires our team to move seats, lift mats, vacuum beneath and between seating and access every compartment. Items left in a vehicle may be moved, may be difficult to locate afterwards, and may be damaged by cleaning equipment, water or cleaning products.
We do not accept responsibility for personal property left in a vehicle — including cash, wallets, phones, keys, sunglasses, electronic devices, jewellery, documents, tools, child seats and accessories, or items in the boot — except to the extent that loss or damage is caused by our negligence, or by a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
If We Find Something
Any item found is recorded in our lost property register and held securely at the shop. We will attempt to contact you on the number provided with your booking. Unclaimed items are held for 30 days and then dealt with in accordance with Victorian uncollected goods laws. Items of no evident value, perishables and rubbish are disposed of.
Claiming An Item
Contact us on 0435 000 084 with the date of your visit, your vehicle registration and a description of the item. Items are released to the person who presented the vehicle, or to a person they authorise.
HIGH-VALUE ITEMS. Please do not leave cash, jewellery, passports or laptops in a vehicle left with us. If something valuable genuinely cannot be removed, tell our team at drop-off and we will note it on your job card.
