Car detailing near Berwick

The short answer

For Berwick drivers, the Sparkling Detailing Studio is a short drive west along Heatherton Road in Endeavour Hills. It is a fixed studio rather than a mobile service, covering interior detailing, cut and polish, multi-stage paint correction, new-car protection and marque-specific European work — every car finished by hand by a technician with twelve years of experience and BMW and Audi factory training. Every job is quoted in writing after a free inspection.

For Berwick drivers who want more than a wash, the Sparkling Detailing Studio is a short drive down Heatherton Road in Endeavour Hills. Every car is finished by hand by a technician trained on and experienced with BMW and Audi in Melbourne.

The credential most detailers cannot offer

Twelve years of intensive detailing, factory training on European marques, and three years running this studio. That matters most on soft European paint, where the wrong process leaves holograms and swirl. Prestige European is a marque-specific service built exactly for that.

A written quote before anything starts

Paint correction, a full interior, new-car protection — every job is quoted in writing after we have looked at the car, so there are no surprises. Book a free inspection and we will tell you exactly what your car needs and what it costs.

Cut and polish, or full correction?

These two names get used interchangeably around Melbourne and priced very differently, which is why quotes for what sounds like the same job vary so much. A single-stage cut and polish takes out light swirl and oxidation and is what most daily-driven cars actually need. Multi-stage correction removes deeper defects and then refines the finish, and takes several times longer. We tell you which one your paint needs rather than quoting the more expensive one by default.

Questions from Berwick drivers

Where exactly is Sparkling Hand Car Wash?
Shop PS4, Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre (mezzanine carpark), 974 Heatherton Rd, Endeavour Hills VIC 3802. We are on the mezzanine carpark level of the shopping centre, on the Cnr Heatherton Rd & Matthew Flinders Ave corner. Drive up the carpark ramp rather than parking below — the bays are on the mid level, not at street level.
What are your opening hours?
Open seven days, 8.30am to 5pm. Same hours every day, including weekends.
Do I need to book, or can I just drive in?
Just drive in for a wash — we keep bays free for the walk-up queue. Detailing and ceramic work is by appointment so the car has a dedicated slot and the right amount of time.
Can I leave the car and go shopping while it is washed?
Yes — that is the whole point of being inside the centre. Hand the keys over, do your shopping, and the car is finished when you come back. Longer detailing work is booked in advance so you know exactly how long to plan for.
How long does a car wash take?
A hand wash takes roughly 20 to 60 minutes depending on the package and the size of the car. Detailing is measured in hours rather than minutes, and every service page shows its own time so you can plan around it.
Do your prices include GST?
Yes. Every price on this site and on the board is GST inclusive, and your tax invoice shows the GST component separately. There is no surprise added at the counter.
How do you work out the price for my car?
By size, and we tell you the size before anything starts. The three sizes are Hatch / Small (Yaris, i30, Corolla hatch, Mazda2, Swift), Sedan / Wagon (Camry, 3-Series, Golf, Mazda6, Commodore), SUV / 4WD (RAV4, CX-5, X5, Prado, Ranger). A large 4WD, van or seven-seater carries an oversize surcharge, and a genuinely filthy car — heavy pet hair, sand, mud, a working ute — may carry a soiling surcharge. Both are shown to you before you commit, never added at the end.
What if I am not happy with the wash?
Tell us before you drive away and we will redo it, free, on the spot. If you would still rather not have it, we refund what you paid for that service. This is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Are the extras priced, or quoted on the spot?
Every extra is priced in writing before you agree to it — the full list is on the Extras page and on the board in the bay. If your car needs something extra, we tell you what it costs first and you decide.
Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to you?
You bring the car to us. We work from fixed bays at Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre rather than from a van, which is what makes proper water, power, lighting and drying possible — and what keeps the price where it is.
Which suburbs do you serve?
The shop is in Endeavour Hills and customers drive in from across the south-east — Doveton, Hallam, Narre Warren, Dandenong, Hampton Park, Berwick, Beaconsfield, Lysterfield and Rowville. There is a page for each of the main ones with directions and the services that suit that area.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes — a voucher can be put towards any wash or detailing service. See the Gift vouchers page.
What is the difference between a car wash and a car detail?
A wash cleans the surface. A detail restores the car: decontaminating the paint, machine-correcting it, deep-cleaning and protecting the interior. A wash is measured in minutes and priced accordingly; a detail takes hours and is booked in.
What is the difference between a cut and polish and paint correction?
They sit on the same scale and the industry uses the names loosely, which is why the prices you see quoted around Melbourne vary so much. A cut and polish is usually a single machine stage — it removes light swirl marks and oxidation and brings the gloss back, and it is what most cars actually need. Full paint correction is a multi-stage process that measures the paint, removes deeper defects and refines the finish, and it takes far longer. We tell you which one your paint needs after looking at it, rather than selling you the more expensive one by default.
Do you work on European cars?
Yes, and it is the reason to come here rather than somewhere closer. Every car is finished by hand by a technician with twelve years of experience and BMW and Audi factory training. European paint is often softer and marks more easily, and the wrong machine process leaves holograms and buffer trails behind. There is a marque-specific service built for exactly that. It is called Prestige European.
Can you clean the interior only?
Yes — Interior Detail is an interior-only service: The interior brought back to new, plus a full exterior wash.
Can you get scratches and swirl marks out of my paint?
Light scratches and swirl marks that sit in the clear coat, yes — that is what Restore does: Cut and polish. Swirl marks and light scratches removed. A scratch you can catch a fingernail in has gone through the clear coat and needs paint, not polish. We tell you which one it is before you book.
Is it worth detailing a car before selling it?
It is one of the few things you can do to a car before sale where the presentation cost is small next to the price difference it can make — buyers read a clean engine bay and a fresh interior as evidence the car was looked after. We will tell you which parts of a full detail are worth doing for a sale and which are not.
Do I have to pay a deposit for detailing?
Detailing bookings take a deposit, which is part-payment of the agreed price and comes straight off the final bill — not an extra charge. You will see the exact amount and tick to acknowledge it before the booking is confirmed, and it is refundable up to the cancellation window shown in the booking terms.
